A CYCLIST has been hospitalised after a crash with a car in Christchurch.
Emergency services were called at around 8.30am on November 5 to Jumpers Road in Christchurch to a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
The road was blocked off, while the fire service released one casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
The cyclist was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 8.33am today (November 5) to Jumpers Road, Christchurch, to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist.
“Two crews from Christchurch attended where they released one casualty and left in the care of the ambulance service. Our stop was at 8.41am.”
Police said that Jumpers Avenue was cleared at around 9.50am.
