THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
ADAM HAGGETT, 45 and of no fixed address, admitted theft from a shop, namely stealing alcohol valued at £50.97 from Homesense at Poole Retail Park on April 14. He was ordered to pay £50.97 compensation.
SIMON FOORD, 54 and of Marston Close in Blandford Forum, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress, and possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, in Shaftesbury on October 1. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DANIEL SMALL, 30 and of Ringwood Road in Poole, admitted two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol and Benzoylecgonine, in Parkstone Road in Poole on March 6. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months. He was also fined £288, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £230 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
STEPHEN DEL SETTE, 55 and of Linaker Street in Southport, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely cocaine, in Bournemouth Road in Poole on April 1. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
NICOLE WHITE, 22 and of Kitchener Crescent in Poole, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, in Poole on September 7. She was handed a community order lasting until May 4, 2026. She was also ordered to pay £300 compensation.
KARL NORMAN FRANK WHITE, 36 and of Trinidad Crescent in Poole, was found guilty of driving a vehicle when the registration mark required to be fixed on the rear of the vehicle failed to comply with the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 in Old Wareham Road in Poole on June 30, 2023. He admitted driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 mph, namely 47 mph, on the A348 Ringwood Road at Bear Cross on August 14, 2023. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £533, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £160 and costs of £213 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LEE EASTMAN, 39 and of Lamberhurst Close in Southampton, admitted two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely assaulting two police officers in Bournemouth on September 8. He admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Pier Approach in Bournemouth on September 8. He was handed a community order lasting until May 5, 2025. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JENNIFER WARREN, 41 and of Waverland Terrace in Gillingham, admitted burglary other than dwelling - theft, namely entering the staff room of the Royal Chase Hotel in Shaftesbury and stealing a black handbag and mobile phone of a value unknown on April 28. She admitted fraud by false representation after using a stolen bank card at Tesco in Shaftesbury on April 28. She admitted two counts of failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on July 19 and October 9. She was handed a 28 day prison sentence suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay £250 compensation.
