SANTA will arrive on an armoured vehicle when the Tank Museum’s Christmas market takes place.
The event called A Dorset Christmas takes place on November 16 and 17 will feature more than 100 stalls by makers and creatives from across Dorset selling high-quality crafts, art, toys, gifts and more.
Tom Holmes, events and partnerships manager, said, “It’s fantastic to be working with Dorset team again to provide this exclusive Christmas shopping experience. With festive live music, family activities and a visit from Santa, there will be plenty of fun to be had by all!”
Activities for children will include the Frank on a Tank elf hunt museum trail, and the opportunity to spread Christmas cheer by writing a card for veterans, which will be delivered by Help for Heroes.
Festive food and drink will be available in the restaurant, including a traditional Christmas dinner, mince pies and mulled wine. Visitors will also be able to explore the museum’s exhibitions.
Annual passes and memberships are valid for the event. To pre-book entry in advance and save 15 per cent, visit tankmuseum.org
