TWO ENTREPRENEURIAL brothers from Bournemouth have launched an initiative that aims to transform lives through physical activity and mentorship with progress rewarded.
Adam and David Stickley have joined forces to launch The Physique Games which offers a range of online programmes including live Q&A calls, fitness workshops and nutrition courses, all designed to ‘empower participants to lead healthier lives’.
The initiative rewards those who make the biggest improvement with cash prizes every three months, with the first giveaway totalling $2,000 across the top 10 winners with $1,000 for first place, and $500 for second.
As the community grows, so will the number of prizes.
Adam Stickley, co-founder of The Physique Games, said: “We believe that every young guy deserves the opportunity to reach his full potential, both physically and mentally.
“Our goal is to create a supportive environment where guys can learn about fitness, teamwork, self-discipline and nutrition.”
The initiative began with the development of a community called LifeMaxing, which within three weeks of launch has amassed more than 70,000 members and counting.
The Physique Games is the first in a series of spin-offs from this community, each designed to help young men optimise all aspects of their lives.
Adam and David Stickley grew up in the Bournemouth area and are currently based in Sao Paulo.
Their next stop is two months in America before heading to Southeast Asia, Adam is also a student at the London School of Economics and is studying remotely.
David said: “We are working 14 hours a day, every day, and travelling constantly.
“But we wouldn’t have it any other way. The majority of our 70k community is in America, but we’re changing territories every two months and recruiting more in each locality as we go.”
He added: “This is an international movement that will eventually result in tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of young lads feeling better about themselves after finding our community and taking on the challenge of bettering themselves.”
