A MAN has appeared in court after assaulting a woman and damaging her possessions.
Jamie Jackson, 40, caused damage worth £550 to the victim’s TV, watch and passport.
Court records show the incident occurred in South View Place in Bournemouth on October 26 last year.
Jackson, of St John’s Terrace in London, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 5, where he gave his plea.
He admitted charges of assault by beating and criminal damage to property valued under £5000.
The defendant was handed a community order lasting until November 4, 2025, and excluded from entering Dorset for nine months.
He was also ordered to pay £400 compensation.
A restraining order was made for the victim, lasting until November 4, 2026.
