RESIDENTS are being invited to put their questions to BCP Council's leader so they can be answered in a live Q&A session.
Councillor Millie Earl will answer residents’ questions in a live broadcast on BCP Council’s social media channels from 12.15pm on Tuesday, November 12.
She will be joined by the council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for finance, Cllr Mike Cox, to discuss the theme ‘money matters’.
They will cover both BCP Council’s budget setting and survey, and the support that is available locally to people who may be struggling with their bills and the cost of living.
Cllr Earl said: “This will be the first live social media Q&A session I will be holding as leader of the council, and it is a great opportunity to ask Cllr Cox and myself any questions you have about local money matters, whether it’s about BCP Council’s budget setting, or the support available through the autumn and winter months for anybody who may be struggling to afford essentials.
“We are an open, transparent and accountable council, putting our people at the heart of our service, and this Leader Live session gives you the opportunity to ask me questions about the local issues that matter to you.”
Questions can be submitted in advance of the live session on BCP Council’s social media channels.
There will also be the opportunity for people to ask questions during the Q&A within the comments section and have them answered in real-time.
The session will be broadcast across the council’s main social media channels including on YouTube and is available to watch later for those unable to tune in live.
