Several pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

Nala is a "vibrant and playful" dog who is looking to find her forever home with an active owner.

She enjoys running around, especially in a secure garden and would benefit from access to an enclosed dog field for off-lead playtime.

Despite being quite lively she is a "sensitive soul" due to a difficult start in life.

She can be a bit wary when meeting new people, especially men, but once she trusts you she will open up.

Nala is ideally looking for a quiet, adult-only home with a structured routine, where she can feel comfortable and relaxed.

The RSPCA adds: "She arrived with a skin condition that has improved with treatment, though she may need further care. Our team will be happy to provide all the details to help her stay healthy and comfortable."

Alongside that, he is an inquisitive cat so will need regular enrichment and play.

Thomas did not have the opportunity to go outside and explore his surroundings in his previous home so is not used to roads or the outside world.
