AN INVESTIGATION has launched after jewellery was stolen from a high street store.

Officers were alerted to reports of a theft at around midday on October 24 at Between The Lines on High Street, Lymington.

It is reported that a necklace was stolen from the store.

Now, officers have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to identify in relation to the incident.

The woman is described as aged between 70 and 75 with shoulder-length brown hair with a fringe.

She was wearing a leopard print headband, green/brown puffer jacket, dark trousers and boots.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
