A CLOSURE order has been sought for a property in Bournemouth.
BCP Council has applied for a closure order for 4 Teal Close, having served a closure notice to the property on November 5.
The order has been sought under section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Poole Magistrates’ Court was due to hear the local authority’s application on Thursday, November 7, but the hearing was adjourned until Thursday, November 14.
The court ordered that the closure notice remains in force until the end of the period of this adjournment.
Court records show the closure order application is being opposed.
The Daily Echo contacted BCP Council to ask why the closure order was sought.
Closure orders are measures regularly used by the council to manage properties experiencing anti-social behaviour.
