A WOMAN was sexually assaulted while travelling on a bus in Bournemouth.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was travelling on the number 6a Morebus towards Bournemouth town centre when a man, who was not known to her, sat next to her.
It is reported he touched her knee and thigh inappropriately.
The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Saturday, September 14.
Police are investigating the incident and have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as part of their enquiries.
Police constable Ryan Hebditch, of Bournemouth police, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this incident and I have now obtained a CCTV image of a man I would like to speak to.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
