WESTBOURNE salon Warren & The Hare has scooped four industry awards.
The salon won awards for Dorset’s Best Salon and Dorset’s Best Colour Salon, while owner Warren Edwards won Dorset’s Colourist of The Year and stylist Emily Ridgers won Dorset’s Men’s Best Stylist of The Year.
The salon is owned by Warren Edwards and James Roper, and was opened in November 2021.
James states how they’ve been incredibly grateful for their success these past three years.
Business is booming at the salon - with Warren himself not able to take on any new clients as he's booked up until January.
The team are over the moon with their awards, with James vocalising how proud he is of Warren.
After working for Toni and Guy since he was sixteen, Warren has transformed the salon industry and has worked extremely hard to get to where he is now.
James described the award entries as “rigorous” but added: "It was worth it to walk away with the highest award of Dorset’s Best Salon.”
He also reflected on the fact that the team are more than deserving, explaining how amongst the five team members, there is over seventy years of experience.
Alongside Warren & The Hare, two other Westbourne salons collected awards - CWD Hair Design and Jade Chapman Collection.
Westbourne’s salons have done extremely well, winning 13 out of the 14 Dorset salon awards.
After only being open for five months, Jade Chapman Collection won Dorset’s Most Sustainable Salon and Dorset’s Best New or Refurbished Salon.
Jade Chapman, the owner of Jade Chapman Collection is over the moon with her two awards, stating that her main goal when applying was to put her salon on the map.
She said: “To win them both was incredible.”
She recalls that her eco-friendly salon winning national awards was part of a three-year plan, but she never expected it within five months.
CWD Hair Design took home a total of seven awards amongst the group.
These awards include Dorset’s Best Salon Team, Dorset’s Bridal Stylist of The Year, Dorset’s Apprentice of The Year and Dorset Creative Image of The Year.
CWD Hair Design owner, Charlie Ward, said: “I’m just really proud of my team and all that they have achieved.”
All three salons speak extremely highly of Westbourne, and how it is incredible that nearly every single award went to a Westbourne business.
