THE Bournemouth Safe Bus pulled into the town to offer a safe space for people on nights out.
Operating until midnight on Friday, November 8, Bournemouth Safe Bus was a secure space where people could get support, particularly if they felt unsafe or needed rest.
The Street Pastors were also out on the streets, offering help and assistance to anyone in need. They were in the town providing guidance, safety and support to distressed people.
Dorset police have offered some crime prevention tips to keep people safe on nights out.
They suggest groups stick together, stay with friends or trustworthy people, keep belongings secure, not leave bags unattended, and use trusted transport.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Trust your instincts: If something feels off, seek help or head to a safe place like the Safe Bus.
“Stay safe, and don’t hesitate to approach the Street Pastors or Safe Bus for help if needed.”
