CHANGES to two shops in Sherborne are being sought in the latest planning applications to Dorset Council.
Among the other local requests is an application to recognise the lawfulness of a caravan at a property in Longburton and the continued use of a home for non-agricultural purposes at Compton Road.

P/FUL/2024/04959 : 53A Cheap Street Sherborne DT9 3AX. Alterations to replace & extend shop front and replace rear window with a door. Erect single storey rear extension.
P/LBC/2024/05476 : 15 Cheap Street Sherborne DT9 3PU. Change the exterior paint colours to front of shop, reinstating a hanging sign - fixing already in situ and installation of shop name on the current space above the shop window.
P/ADV/2024/05706 : 15 Cheap Street Sherborne DT9 3PU. Display 1 No. non-illuminated fascia sign and 1 No. non-illuminated hanging sign.
P/CLP/2024/05785 : The Old House A352 Street Lane To A3030 Longburton DT9 5PG. Certificate of lawfulness for the siting of a caravan within the residential curtilage.
P/CLE/2024/05812 : The Dairy House Compton Road BA21 5BZ. Certificate of Lawfulness to provide confirmation that the dwelling has been continuously occupied for a period in excess of 10 years in breach of the agricultural occupancy condition.
P/PAAC/2024/05909 : Sunnymead Farm Hermitage To Holnest Park Farmhouse Holnest DT9 6HA. Change of use and conversion of 1no. agricultural building to 1no. dwelling (use Class C3).
P/HOU/2024/06194 : 2 Barton Gardens Sherborne DT9 4BE. Erect Single Storey Side Extension to Form Porch P/FUL/2024/06277 :The Hillbrook Hotel Horsecastles Lane Sherborne DT9 6BB. Erect outbuilding to accommodate SPA facilities and extension to existing garden wall.
P/HOU/2024/05536 : The Nest, 7 Sherborne Lane Lyme Regis DT7 3NY. Erection of outbuilding. Installation of patio doors to replace existing window, and replace existing door with window to rear elevation.
