WITH reference to the Tank Museum Christmas jumper article on Saturday, November 2.
I know Christmas jumpers are a bit of festive fun and people like to wear them.
The jumper has something on it to do with the Christmas season; snowflakes, snowman, reindeer, etc.
When I saw the Tank Museum’s idea of a Christmas jumper, I was very upset. A tank on a Christmas jumper!
A tank is a symbol of war, hate, greed, misery, suffering and death. Nothing to do with Christmas – the season of goodwill to all, peace, hope, love and the birth of Jesus who was sent by God to show us all the way to lead good, kind and loving lives.
Have we come so far away from what Christmas means?
