A MOTORCYCLIST remains in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Christchurch.
While the man in his 50s remains in a bad way in Southampton General Hospital, his condition is no longer believed to be life threatening.
The rider, from Christchurch, was on a Yamaha motorbike in Fairmile Road at the junction with Stour Road on November 4 when he was involved in a crash with a white BMW 118i.
Providing an update, Dorset Police said the investigation into the crash remains ongoing and that no arrests have been made.
Police sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the roads policing team investigating the serious crash that happened at around 4.30pm, continues to appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
He said: “This incident occurred at a busy time of day and I understand there were a number of motorists in the area who may have seen what happened.”
