HEALTH and life insurer Vitality has been announced as the official wellness partner for The Great Tail Trail next spring.
Forty-five brightly-coloured mermaid tail sculptures will be displayed in public areas across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for eight weeks from April 5.
Money from the scheme will be raised for Corfe Mullen’s children’s hospice Julia’s House.
Judy Parfitt, chief people officer for Vitality, said: “As one of the biggest employers in the region, we are thrilled to be able to partner with an event that means so much to the local community, and our employees.
“It will create a great opportunity for people in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to connect with friends, family and their community, enabling them to experience something new, while at the same time getting active for a good cause.”
Laura Maidment, public fundraising manager for Julia's House, added: “We hope that everyone will enjoy getting outside in the fresh air and sunshine to explore the beautiful BCP region with family and friends, whether they choose to walk, run or even cycle as they search for the sculptures."
