A POLICE helicopter was deployed to search for a suspect following a reported assault in Bransgore.
The NPAS helicopter searched for a suspect for over an hour before heading back to Bournemouth Airport on November 17.
It is reported that a person was assaulted at around 3.40pm on Bransgore Road.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “NPAS was carrying out a search in relation to an incident of assault which is reported to have happened on Bransgore Road at around 3.40pm on 17 November.
“The victim has not yet made contact with the police.
“The matter is under investigation and officers are working to establish the fill circumstances around the incident.”
A spokesperson for NPAS said: “On 1556hrs on November 17, the police helicopter crew from NPAS Bournemouth was deployed to the Bransgore area to support Hampshire Police in a suspect search.
“Total flying time was one hour and 28 minutes.”
