A HELICOPTER covered in snow was seen parked next to a busy dual carriageway yesterday morning.
The Robinson- R44 Raven is a four-bladed single-engine helicopter designed for commercial and recreational flights.
The dark red coloured helicopter made a landing next to the A31 near Stoney Cross at around 8am on November 21.
The helicopter was travelling from Bournemouth Airport to a location near London when it decided to make a quick landing in Hampshire.
It is believed that the helicopter landed safely to avoid the snowy weather.
Yesterday’s weather caused major travel disruption to rail services and motorists across the region with cold temperatures of 2 degrees.
