THE daughter of a missing Bournemouth man has she is “extremely worried” as the search operation intensifies.

Richard Bentley was last seen 10 days ago on November 12 in the Townsend area of Bournemouth, but nobody has heard from him since.

The 55-year-old was reported missing to the police at around 8.50am four days later on November 16.

He is described as five feet nine inches tall and of very slim build with grey brown hair and is normally wearing baggy clothes. It is believed he may be riding a dark-coloured electric scooter.

Richard’s daughter Miranda has issued the following appeal: “I would like to appeal to you to make contact with your family, who are all extremely worried for you.

“We just want to make sure you are safe and well and would ask anyone who may have knowledge of Richard’s whereabouts to please contact the police.”

Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries to locate Richard, including visiting houses in the area and carrying out CCTV checks.

“We have received information from the public with possible sightings and would like to thank everyone who has been in touch, but so far these are not confirmed to be Richard.

“Our searches have been continuing in the vicinity with support from the dog section and drone unit.

“It has been a number of days now since Richard has been seen and we are very worried for his safety. If anyone has information that may help us find him, please get in touch.”
