SOME 100 dogs got their fifteen minutes of fame thanks to a Dorset Dogs event.
The Dorset Dogs Santa Paws Grotto took place at Ojo Rojo on November 24 with photographer Seven Springs Studios.
The money raised through the event went to Merlin’s Pet Food Bank.
Four-legged friends were treated to beverages and treats such as puppaccinos and mulled wine to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Nicky Crowe, director of Dorset Dogs CIC said: “It’s a special event and we love this venue because it’s dog friendly and you get 15% off if you bring your dog.
“We all love dogs so much and pets, we've got 12 pet food banks across Dorset and we're almost at two years since we began.
“It's just about fundraising because the bigger we're getting, the more funds we need. We also would love to save some for a community hub because a lot of these events also bring people who suffer social anxiety out with their dogs.
“The events focus on the dog, their anxiety is lifted and they're able to sort of socialise with others as well and we all love our dogs.
“We'd love to really do more in the community as well because our goal is to raise awareness of how important dogs are for mental health and for physical wellness too.”
