A BOMB disposal group have been called to the New Forest.
The discover of an 'unexploded' device has sparked the call out of bomb disposal experts in Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst, near the luxury hotel Lime Wood.
Hampshire police have said a cordon was in place when they were first called.
A spokesperson said: "We were called just after 4.15pm (on Monday, November 25) following the reported discovery of a suspected piece of unexploded ordnance on land off Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst.
"Officers attended and a cordon was put into place as a safety precaution.
"The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) have also attended and remain at the scene at this time, as they work to make the area safe.”
Experts are still "making the area safe," police said.
It comes after a suspected piece of "unexploded ordnance" was found off Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst.
