A SECTION of the A31 was closed after a two-vehicle crash in Dorset.
The road was temporarily closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Motorists faced up to half an hour of delays as a result of the crash.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 10.43am to report of a two-vehicle crash on the A31 at Winterbourne Zelston.
“Officers attended and recovery was requested for both vehicles.
“The ambulance service attended and no serious injuries were reported.”
At the time of the incident, AA read: "Road closed and slow traffic due to crash, two vehicles involved on A31 both ways from The BP Station to (Botany Bay Inne Junction)."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 11:22hrs on Tuesday 26 November to a road traffic collision near Lytchett Matravers, Dorset. We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene.
"We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
