THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

GERALD HORAN, 36 and of no fixed abode, admitted to theft of a rucksack of an unknown value and fraud by false representation of £97.90 at Winter Gardens Car park in Bournemouth on June 16. He also admitted four counts of fraud by false representation at Shell Service Station in Darbys Lane in Poole on September 3 and September 8. Horan was handed a community order until November 21, 2025, must complete 30 activity days and 100 hours of unpaid work.

JOSHUA GERRARD, 23 and of Churchill Road in Poole, admitted to possession of a knife blade/ sharp pointed article, namely an 18cm kitchen knife, in a public place at Upper Road in Poole on July 15. Gerrard was handed a community order until November 21, 2025, ordered to complete 30 activity days, 80 hours of unpaid work, pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £114.

SAYDUR HUSSAIN, 31 and of Bennett Road in Bournemouth, admitted to possession of a controlled drug of class C, namely nitrous oxide, and driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a license in Glen Fern Road on September 19. They also admitted to driving a vehicle on a road/ public place without due car and attention in Fir Vale Road in Bournemouth on September 19. Hussain was fined £153, given six points on their license, ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £92.

THOMAS FAITHFUL, 31 and of Sea Road in Boscombe, admitted to five counts of theft, namely parcels, on August 23, August 28, August 29, September 4 and September 14 in Bournemouth. Faithful was handed a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £26.

RIA MATTHEWS, 23 and of Frost Road in Bournemouth, admitted to possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin, in Bournemouth on January 10. Matthews was fined £80, ordered to pay £40 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £32.

IAN MORRELL, 56 and of Lockyers Way in Lytchett Matravers, admitted to driving a motor vehicle when alcohol above the limit, namely 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Dorset on September 4. Morrell was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £236, pay £85 in prosecution costs and a victim surcharge of £105.  

ASHLEY WHIFFEN, 30 and of no fixed abode, admitted to possession of controlled drugs of class A and C, namely crack cocaine and pregabalin tablets, in Old Orchard, Poole on August 3. They also admitted to using a vehicle without third party insurance and driving a vehicle otherwise in accordance with a license in Poole and failing to provide a specimen in Bournemouth, on August 14. Whiffen also admitted to aid/ abet burglary with intent to steal at Costa Coffee in Tower Park, Poole on August 24. Whiffen was handed a community order until May 24, 2026, subjected to an electronic curfew for three months and 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
