A WOMAN was found dead at her home in Bournemouth after emergency services were called to a concern for welfare.
Heidi Dominiqua Sheehan, 49, was found unresponsive and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Senior coroner for Dorset, Rachael Griffin, opened the inquest into her death at Bournemouth Town Hall on November 26.
Coroner’s officer, Nicola Muller, told Dorset Coroner’s Court that Heidi was unemployed and single at the time of her death.
She was born in Norfolk on February 14, 1975, and was living at an address on Nutley Way in Bournemouth.
Ms Muller said on November 18 police were called to Heidi’s address after a concern for welfare was made.
Emergency services gained entry to her home and found her unresponsive.
Despite best efforts at resuscitation, Heidi was pronounced dead at 8.30pm and formally identified by a police officer using her driving license.
Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances or third party involvement.
A post-mortem examination was conducted by Dr Stolte on November 21 which found the provisional cause of death to be hanging.
Ms Griffin requested statements from Heidi’s family, GP, mental health services if she was known to them, the police and pathologist.
The hearing was adjourned for a full inquest on March 21 at 10am.
