ANOTHER landslide has happened along the cliffs at Bournemouth beach.
This time, the earth at East Cliff immediately to the west of the cliff lift has come crashing down.
It started close to the top of the cliff and has caused all the trees along the edge to fall to the bottom and into the shipping containers.
The site along the promenade is used as a storage site and coffee break area for workmen completing a number of Levelling Up jobs along the seafront.
It has been cordoned off by BCP Council, who are aware of the slide.
It’s believed the landslide, like the one at Durley Chine on October 19, has been caused by the recent heavy rainfall softening the ground.
Beach huts were damaged by the slide along the West Cliff – the second to hit the same spot in the space of 10 days.
BCP Council has been approached for more details on the East Cliff landslide.
