From 4.30pm on the green next to M&S, there will be announcements by Jess Mostyn and Cllr Farquhar, followed by a performance from the Rock Choir at 4.45pm.

The lights will then be switched on at 5.15pm, with a meet and greet with Jeff taking place at the Westbird Café Bar afterwards.

Festivities will kick off from 11am with Mellor Sisters performing in The Hutch followed by a performance at Maravai from 12.45pm.

The Bournemouth goats will even be visiting between 10am and 3pm on the M&S green.

Westbourne’s traders have gone all out with stunning window displays, and businesses will offer festive treats and warm drinks to make the evening even more special.

Bespoke lighting installations commissioned by Coastal BID will illuminate arcade, including a whimsical Wonderland Squirrel display that perfectly captures the holiday spirit.

Fiona McArthur, representing Bournemouth Coastal BID, said: "We’re delighted to bring the sparkle of Christmas to Westbourne with our stunning lights and festive displays. A big thank you to Jeff Mostyn and the Mayor for joining us in this wonderful celebration – we can’t wait to see everyone there."
