DORSET disability charity Diverse Abilities will host its annual Christmas concert this month.
The event, supported by Colten Care, will take place at St. Peter’s Church in Bournemouth on the evening of Wednesday, December 11.
Hosted by Blair Crawford, the founder and president of Hope FM, the concert will feature captivating festive performances from Sound of Soul, one of the South’s leading choirs, and classical-crossover soprano Poppy Neame.
Entertainment will also come from Razzamataz Bournemouth, a theatre school for ages four to 18 specialising in musical theatre, as well as some Christmas tunes from Canford Heath Junior School plus the Colten Care residents’ choir, made up of singers from various homes singing the festive favourites.
Mariana Swain, events executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are really looking forward to this year’s Christmas Concert at St. Peter’s Church.
"There will be a fantastic range of performers and speakers. We’d love people to come along with their friends and family for a fantastic evening whilst supporting children and adults with disabilities in Dorset.”
Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children (aged 11-16 years) and free for children under 10. A family ticket can be purchased for £28.
All funds raised through ticket sales will go to Diverse Abilities, which supports children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities.
Doors to the concert open at 6pm.
