READY meal company Cook has opened its third shop in Dorset.
The Kent-based firm, which sells frozen ready meals, opened a new branch in the former M&Co in High Street, Christchurch last month.
Cook already has shops in Poole Road in Westbourne, Dorchester and The Furlong in Ringwood, but also stocks its meals at a number of Spar, Budgens and Co-op stores in the area.
It was founded in 1997 by entrepreneurs Ed and Dale in Franham and was inspired by the “taste of great home-cooking".
According to the website, the duo’s dream way to “find a better way of doing business: working for people and the planet, not just profit”.
It adds: “While a lot has changed for Cook since the year when everyone flocked to the cinema to watch Titanic, a lot has stayed the same, too.
“We still prepare our meals and puddings by hand, and we’re still obsessed with using the best ingredients from farmers and suppliers we trust.”
