PLANS are in place to demolish a bungalow with a large garden and replace it with a block of flats.

Developer Qualia Properties has submitted a planning application to demolish a bungalow in Wallace Road, Broadstone, and replace it with a new two-story apartment block.

Agent for the Bournemouth-based property developer, Pure Town Planning, said the building would have eight flats from the front side and at the back, a four-bedroom home.

“The flats will be two storeys with a third floor of accommodation within the roof, whilst the dwelling will be two storeys,” Pure Town Planning said in a statement.

“The flats are laid out to provide one one-bed flat and seven two-bed flats, each is afforded a good level of natural light and spacious living areas.”

Meanwhile, if the plans are fully approved by BCP Council, the development would provide eight parking spaces for cars and two for the home at the back.

Pure Town Planning added: “The proposals have been carefully thought out to provide the proposed new dwellings in a form that assimilates well with the established character of the area.”

BCP Council will decide on the proposals in due course.
