HUNDREDS of dogs were treated to two festive events courtesy of a Dorset-based dog charity.
The Santa Paws Grotto was part of Dorset Dogs CIC's mission to celebrate and raise awareness of the vital role dogs play in human lives.
Dogs and their owners were joined by popular animated characters such as Deadpool and Frozen’s Elsa as well as various market stalls selling animal-related products.
The Santa Paws market was held on December 1 at Honky Tonk Collective, Poole.
The event also saw four-legged friends treated to puppacinos and tasty goodies.
A week before, a festive dog photoshoot with Father Christmas was also held at Ojo Rojo which saw more than 100 dogs photographed professionally.
Dorset Dogs CIC director Nicky Crowe said: “It was yet again, a very successful event. Even more attendance than last year. Over 100 dogs were photographed with Santa or on the throne chair if they were "Santa-shy".
“We are the only indoor dog-friendly Christmas market we know of and are proud to allow dogs. A big thank you to the venue Honky Tonky Collective.”
One person who attended the event said: “Santa Paws isn't just about photos with Santa; it's about celebrating the joy dogs bring to our lives and creating a supportive, inclusive space for dog owners."
