POLICE are hunting for barber shop burglars who broke in and stole cash from the till in Upton.
It was reported at around 4am on Saturday, November 16, entry was gained to the Swaffield’s barbers and salon in The Triangle in Upton.
It is believed one of the offenders entered the premises and took cash from the till while the other kept watch.
Both people left the scene on electric pushbikes.
Police constable Josh Hurwood, of Wareham police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the early hours of Saturday 16 November 2024.
“I would also ask any residents or motorists who have captured relevant footage on their doorbell cameras or dashcams to please get in contact with us.
“We are also issuing CCTV images of two people we wish to speak to in connection with this incident and while I appreciate that the images are not the best, I would urge anyone with information as to their identities or recognises them from their clothing to please come forward.”
