A BOURNEMOUTH holidaymaker who was allegedly thrown over a balcony has died.
Stephen Mallon, 49, lost his fight for life after 12 days in a coma at the Carlos Haya Hospital in Malaga.
His devastated wife Teresa and their three children Jenny, Peter and Carl were by his side when doctors switched off his life support machine.
Mr Mallon, a roofer from Southbourne, received head injuries after allegedly being hurled over a balcony in the picturesque village of Competa on June 4.
According to his wife, he and his twin sons were set upon by a gang of 30 men outside La Estrella pub because they are British.
