AFC Bournemouth is tonight in the hands of new owners.
The League Two club has been bought by a consortium headed by Dorset-based businessman Adam Murry.
His group includes former Cherries directors Jeff Mostyn and Steve Sly, together with property developer Eddie Mitchell and Mitchell’s son-in-law Neill Blake.
News of the Murry Group’s proposed acquisition of the club was revealed exclusively by the Daily Echo a week ago.
And following a series of meetings during the past few days, the deal was finally concluded this evening.
Departing owner Paul Baker, who purchased the club with his Sport-6 business partner Alastair Saverimutto just 11 months ago, reached agreement to sell to the Murry Group at the end of last week.
