WEST Dorset MP Oliver Letwin is set to become the latest senior Conser-vative MP to give up his lucrative second job.

Tory policy chief Mr Letwin is expected to announce that he will stand down as a non-executive director of merchant bank NM Rothschild Corporate Finance.

From July 1, MPs are bracing themselves for a further wave of public anger when they are forced to disclose the pay they receive for jobs outside Parliament.

Mr Letwin joins at least nine members of David Cameron’s front bench who have indicated they will give up second jobs from which they can earn several hundred thousand pounds a year.

He is understood to be standing down from the estimated £100,000-a-year banking position, but not before July. This means he will have to disclose some of his pay and perks.
