TWO female drivers were seriously injured after a collision on the A30 Sherborne causeway, Shaftesbury on Wednesday afternoon.
Both drivers were trapped in their cars and had to be cut free by fire fighters.
The driver of the blue Renault Clio, a 56-year-old woman from Shaftesbury was flown to Bath Hospital by air ambulance and the driver of the red Peugeot 306, a 21-year-old driver from Odiham in Hampshire was also flown by air ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.
