Friday July 24, 2009: I’m feeling better today, yesterday was very emotional.

We stayed in this morning and the girls were fighting – they just deliberately wind each other up, it drives me mad.

I was very pleased when the weather stayed nice enough for the girls to go to the park with Zoe, Jay and Leo.

Mum and I wandered round Boscombe, my ‘exercise’ for the day! Does shopping count as exercise?

This evening Mel and I had a lovely free meal at La Tasca.

It was so nice to be able to look at the menu and order exactly what we wanted without thinking about the cost. Good to spend an evening out with Mel too.

When we got home we watched Jonathan Ross on TV. A-ha were on there performing their new single and Sun Always Shines on TV.

I felt so old when we worked out that it was 20 years ago that I loved a-ha and wanted to marry Morten Harket!
