MUM'S emailed a Harley Street doctor after reading an article on a new cancer treatment.

Apparently it’s the treatment Patrick Swayze has had and it has really helped him. It’s like some sort of radiation that can attack tumours that other treatments haven’t been able to reach in the past and are in inoperable positions.

Breast cancer wasn’t mentioned as one of the cancers that can be treated and they didn’t say that my cancer was inoperable because of its position, it was because it was so spread out on the liver.

So… a bit of a long shot and certainly nothing to get excited about at this stage but treatments are progressing every day, just imagine if something out there could help me.

Another really positive thing happened today, someone has put £100 into my Justgiving fund.

That’s the second donation of £100 – we’re on £727 now, isn’t that fantastic. I thought I’d reached a plateau.

My link has been on the front page of the Echo news website all week so I figured plenty of new people could have got to it if they’d been interested.

I feel I have done all I can now as far as promoting it goes but I am over the moon with £727 and I also made £70 sponsorship for Race for Life, plus whatever work collects (still not got that!!) It feels good to do something positive like that and to know that the money is so important and needed.
