A FACEBOOK group has been set up to help trace missing Christchurch man David Legg.
Mr Legg left his home in Hurn Way at 11pm on Saturday November 21 and has not been seen since.
He is suffering from health problems and was upset following a family disagreement.
His devastated family said his disappearance is completely out of character and appeared in the Echo last week appealing for Mr Legg to come home. They also made “missing” posters and have been busy putting them up around the area.
Mr Legg’s wife Mary and his four children Natalie, Daniel, Dominic and Charlotte and two stepchildren Karl and Rachael, are frantic with worry.
Speaking on behalf of the family, his son-in-law Nick Marshall said they are still no closer to finding him.
“The police have been following a few leads but they haven’t amounted to anything. It’s not looking good. We don’t know where he is, it’s really worrying.
“The family is finding it really difficult, particularly the two young children. We’ve received a fantastic response from local people and a Facebook group now has more than 3,000 members.
“We’re hoping that the more people who know about David, the quicker we’ll find him.”
Mr Legg was last seen wearing a white round neck t-shirt, blue jeans and a black knee-length parka jacket. He left home on a red and black mountain bike.
Anyone with any information should call Dorset Police on 01202 222222.
* The family has set up a Facebook group called Missing. Have you seen this man from Christchurch?
