THEY all came gift wrapped as bundles of Christmas joy.

Several couples celebrated December 25 with the arrival of a new member of the family (see the gallery below).

First to make an appearance at Poole Hospital at 45 minutes past midnight was a baby boy to Hannah George and James Mogg from Parkstone. The little man weighed in 8lb, 8oz.

Piotr Glowiak and wife, Renata, celebrated a very special Christmas with the arrival of their first child, baby Adam.

The bouncing boy entered the world at 8.25am on Christmas Day, nearly seven-and-a-half hours after Renata was admitted to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

A Christmas Eve supper was interrupted at 10pm by early signs of Adam’s imminent arrival, and three hours later Piotr and Renata set off for the hospital from their home in Charminster.

“I can’t think of a better present for us.

“We have a place for him in our bedroom. Everything is prepared, ready and waiting,” said proud dad, Piotr.

Annie Leung from Hamworthy gave birth to daughter Ocean, 7lb, 1oz, while Tina and Mark Gomez from New Milton celebrated the arrival of a baby boy.

Bethanie Claire and her partner Sean Johns from Bournemouth were also blessed with a baby son, Reece.

“He’s my first, so I am still a bit shell-shocked,” admitted Bethanie, 22.

“But we are glad to be home and the little one is doing just fine.”

Also at Bournemouth, Emma Newton was cuddling her new son Oliver Henry, 6lb 15oz.

At Poole, Michael and Candida Trickett from Muscliff marked Christmas Day with the arrival of a son weighing 7lb, 3oz and Ian and Deniz Britton and their daughter Frances, aged 8, welcomed Ruby Ilayda into the world.

And just making it before the end of Christmas Day was Loreane Dijoux, born at 11.20pm at Poole to proud mum Gwenaelle Picard.
