DETECTIVES are hunting two sex attackers who molested a screaming teenager on the crowded dance floor of a Bournemouth nightclub.
The 18-year-old local woman was dancing alone in the basement bar of Bliss on St Peter’s Road when she was the victim of “a serious sexual assault”.
Details of the terrifying attack, which took place between 1am and 2.37am on Wednesday, March 3, have just been released by Dorset police.
DC Alan Marks from Bournemouth and Poole’s |public protection unit said: |“This was a particularly nasty |and degrading attack with one of the men restraining the woman before both sexually assaulted her.
“The victim screamed and there is no doubt that other members of the public who were on the crowded dance floor will have seen what happened to her.”
He added: “I understand that while the assault was taking place at least four black or Asian men stood around the girl and her two attackers.
“I believe that the attackers were part of this group.”
The men being sought are |both black with the one who restrained the teenager wearing a white shirt.
DC Marks said: “I need to urgently speak with all those who witnessed this shocking and degrading assault as they may be able to help me identify the two men responsible.
“I’d also like to hear from anyone who knows, or believes they know, the identity of these two men or any members of the group who, I believe, were friends of the two attackers.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset police on 01202 222222 or the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
