THOUSANDS of women are taking part in today's Race for Life event at Bournemouth seafront.
The annual event, which raises money for Cancer Research, sees more than 5,500 runners put their best foot forward for two 5km races in the morning and afternoon as well as the 10km event in the morning.
A sea of pink outfits and fancy dress costumes could be seen for miles as participants pounded the promenade jostling for space in the sunshine.
Organisers are hoping to raise around £420,000 through sponsorship.
