A YOUNG man killed in a motorbike accident had just been offered a job at a Dorset school.

Young dad Neil Carter died after a collision near Shillingstone last week.

Parents Peter and Jacqui Carter have paid tribute to their “bright” boy who was devoted to his family.

Neil, 26, was a chef by trade and had applied for a position as assistant cook at the Forum School in Shillingstone for children with autism – a position he was “very excited” about, said Peter.

Mr Carter said he had an idea that Neil was going back to the school for an interview on the day of the crash but only found out afterwards that Neil had been successful and was offered the job.

Neil, from Charminster near Dorchester, had been planning a birthday party for his son Dylan, who turns five this week.

He is due to be buried on Friday at the green burial site in Shillingstone. Donations can made to the Forum School.
