DRIVERS are being reminded Bournemouth Road is now fully open to traffic.
The A35 was subjected to temporary traffic lights and closures for several weeks due to essential gasworks.
Motorists taking diversions to avoid the area had put pressure on other routes.
But the road is now free of any hold-ups and drivers are urged to use the important route, particularly with a new wave of roadworks having begun on nearby Ashley Road.
