Cherries have today finalised an extension to Adam Smith's loan at Dean Court - until the start of the new year.
The 19-year-old Spurs defender will remain with Eddie Howe's squad at least until Monday, January 3, the day Cherries host Brentford.
Smith, who was initially drafted in on a one-month emergency loan, has made four appearances for Cherries, featuring in home wins over Carlisle, Exeter and MK Dons.
He also lined up in a 2-0 defeat at Southampton where a late red card for two bookings saw him collect a one-match ban, ruling him out of Cherries' trip to Brighton earlier this month.
Cherries have converted Smith's agreement to a youth loan, with the deal going through earlier today after being ratified by the Football League.
