EDDIE Howe has pledged his immediate future to Cherries after another day of drama at Dean Court.
The 33-year-old manager has turned down approaches from both Charlton and Crystal Palace to remain with the Dorset outfit.
The news that Howe was to remain with Cherries was broken exclusively on the Echo's live blog just minutes before Howe confirmed the news officially to the media outside Dean Court.
It was believed Howe was still weighing up whether to remain with Cherries or accept one of two offers from either Palace or Charlton overnight.
Echo sources in South London claimed earlier that both the capital clubs were losing interest in Howe, as his future remained in doubt for a third day today.
And after a crunch meeting with his squad around lunchtime, Howe and assistant Jason Tindall opted to continue their fairytale at Dean Court.
Chairman Eddie Mitchell said: "It’s a good coup for us to keep him.
"We want to get on and achieve more.
"One day, Eddie will move on and I think, probably, he will outgrow the club.
"We’re all very, very happy about the decision he’s made.
"We’re pleased with the outcome and let’s get on with it now."
