SEVERAL bunches of flowers have been placed at the scene of a death in Boscombe.
Nicholas David Ormerod, 29, suffered serious injuries in the incident in Hawkwood Road near to the junction with Sea Road, on Thursday April 7 and died in the early hours of the following morning at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
Mark William Haylock, 49, of no fixed abode, appeared at Bournemouth Magistrates Court on Monday April 11 charged with murder.
A 39-year-old man has been released on bail while a 40-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were released without charge.
Darren Warner, 37, of Boscombe, said he had known the victim and described him as having “a bubbly personality”.
Bunches of flowers and accompanying tribute messages were placed at the scene in the days following Mr Ormerod’s death.
