Stephanie Mercury from Bournemouth is proving a real glass act on stage – by squeezing into a bottle.
Fearless Stephanie contorts her body into the bottle, which measures just 18 inches in diameter and two foot in height, as part of The Circus of Horrors show.
Stephanie originally applied for the position of aerialist but found this was part of the job. She will also be astounding the audience with her exquisite Ariel hoop and silk acts. Stephanie is not the only one to show a lot of bottle during the extraordinary extravaganza.
The latest tour called Freaks and Feathers displays acts such as sword swallowing by Hannibal Helmurto and Anastasia, who blade walks and also hangs by her hair.
The weird and wonderful entertainment is led by Circus of Horrors’ ‘undead’ ringmaster Doktor Haze and the demon dwarf, Captain Dan.
Other jaw-dropping moments include the Voodoo Warriors limboing under flaming bars and Denis Remnev on a revolving German wheel.
The show, which is not suitable for children or people of a nervous disposition, is on at the Electric Palace in Bridport on May 16.
