A Poole hospice is teeing off with Broadstone Golf Club in a three-year fundraising partnership.
Julia’s House patron, Sandbanks resident, Spurs manager and keen golfer Harry Redknapp attended the launch at the club.
The Dorset children’s hospice already had links with the golfers, having benefited in the past from several charity golf days.
This new partnership, which secures Julia's House as the long term Captain’s Charity, has come as a huge boost in a year when it needs to raise £2.8 million in order to continue offering support to Dorset children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Lin Hudswell, fundraising manager at Julia's House said: “It is such a pleasure for the charity to be able to work with and be supported by such a great local business.
“The club has always shown a genuine interest in the work of the hospice and we are so thankful for its time and interest. We look forward to achieving great things together.”
