EVERYONE’S favourite newsreader Angela Rippon will be lending her authoritative tones to commemorative concert We’ll Meet Again – The Spirit of the Forties.
The Raymond Gubbay production defines itself as defining the period with the very best of music, song and dance.
TV presenter Angela Rippon is the perfect host for this special evening, which takes place on October 15 at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre.
Audiences can expect an evocative journey with a nostalgic blend of swing hits and wartime chart toppers such as In The Mood, We’ll Meet Again and White Cliffs of Dover.
The evening’s entertainment is brought to life by a 27-piece live band and a superb line-up of artists under the command of acclaimed conductor Gavin Sutherland.
The celebration of the era will be completed by world champion dancers Chris Marques and Jaclyn Spencer who will dazzle with their breathtaking routines and sassy moves.
Commenting on her role, Angela Rippon said: “This is a concert full of music that so many people know and love.
