THE owner of a New Forest bed and breakfast will feature on Channel 4 show Three In A Bed tonight.
The show, which pits bed and breakfast owners against each other, will see Liese Cairnes, owner of Leyland Country House, in Lymington show her guests around the area, while showing off her establishment.
Each week, three different couples spend the night in each other’s establishments to sample the hospitality and tourist attractions of the area.
Liese took her guests to SenSpa at Carey’s Manor in Brockenhurst – a spa which offers a fusion of eastern and western treatments.
Liese said: “We enjoyed taking part in a programme and our visit to SenSpa was great.
“Ultimately we wanted to showcase The New Forest as a great place to stay and visit.”
The house was built in 1927 for the King family, who owned a bookshop in Lyming-ton until a few years ago.
Leyland opened for business in 2006, with Liese’s four children all working as part of the team.
The couples in the show test each other’s businesses to breaking point, striving to show why their bed and breakfasts – and locations – should be judged as number one.
The show will air on Channel 4 at 8pm.
